VOLUNTEER STORIES

Mr Goh Yong Piou
50

After working in the real estate industry for more than 15 years, Yong Piou decided to take a break and volunteer with RSVP. He joins mentoring as he enjoys working with young children and finds a sense of satisfaction when they remember him. Volunteering allows him to give back to society and be of service to others while also broadening his social circle.

Mr Chew Han Khim
Volunteering since April 2019

Han Khim had always believed in giving back to society and helping people who are in need – these motivated him to step forward to volunteer. Before joining RSVP Singapore, he did not have any prior experience in volunteering, and was eager to embark on his volunteering journey after his daughter chanced upon our website.

Ms Gillian Mui
Volunteering since 2016

Volunteering has given Gillian opportunities to meet new people and make friends, which she could not do much of before she started. She discovered her flair for being a trainer while volunteering which has boosted her self-esteem and confidence and she now aspires to inspire others in any possible way with her experiences.
